Racha Yai Island
Racha Yai Island one of the islands in the Andaman Sea located about 23 km south of Phuket Island. This picturesque island has several bays that are favored by divers because of the comfortable diving conditions. On this island you can find a comfortable place in any weather where you can hide from the waves and enjoy diving.
Diving conditions are perfect for check-diving after a long break and for divers with an entry level certificate. More advanced divers will be no less interested. The depths of the sites start from 7 meters and gently draw you into the blue, reaching 30 meters. The bottom is sandy, which provides excellent visibility to 20-25 meters at any time of the year. Currents are insignificant.
From the sights can be seen, sunken ships and motorcycles, special structures for reef farming, as well as life-sized elephants.
Of the inhabitants often found moray eels, wings, cuttlefish, sting rays, barracuda, batfish, as well as you can see turtles.
The turquoise water, white sand and excellent visibility at Racha Yai dive sites will leave no one indifferent!
If your family members want to keep you company, but are not ready to dive - that's not a problem! They can stay on the boat as non-divers. During your dive they will have the opportunity to snorkel. Enjoy the beauty of the underwater world from the surface, or sunbathe on the sun deck. The cost for a non-diver is 2,400 baht.
