Racha Noi - Racha Yai Islands
Islands Racha Noi and Racha Yai are located about 30 kilometers south of Phuket Island. Island Racha Noi uninhabited. The dive sites here are varied and will appeal to divers of all levels of experience.
There's sandy bays with freestanding reef banks, bays lined with hard corals, sheer cliffs and huge boulders.
Depths start from 7-9 meters and can reach up to 70 m. Currents in the bays are insignificant, but on the northern and southern ledges currents can become strong. Visibility is from 20 to 30 m at any time of the year.
Of the inhabitants Octopus, cuttlefish, moray eels, wings, swarms of barracuda, tuna, bat fish, sting rays are often found. Eaglefish and turtles are encountered. The giant stingray Manta Rey is often seen near the southern ledge.
By the island Racha Noi we'll do two dives. The third dive is on the way back near Racha Yai Island.
Island Racha Yai is located closer to Phuket. This picturesque island has several bays with comfortable diving conditions. The depths of the sites start from 7 meters and gently draw you into the blue reaching 30 meters. The bottom is sandy, which provides excellent visibility up to 20-25 meters at any time of the year. Currents are insignificant.
From the sights can be seen, sunken ships and motorcycles, special structures for reef farming, as well as life-sized elephants.
Of the inhabitants often there are moray eels, wings, cuttlefish, sting rays, barracuda, bat fish, as well as you can see turtles.
