PADI Rescue Diver Course - This is an essential step in expanding a diver's knowledge and experience. The course practises how to deal with emergencies and how to prevent them. The tasks will require some effort, but becoming a rescue diver will give you confidence in your abilities.
The course takes 2 days.
Theoretical part: Self-study the online textbook, watch the video, complete the quizzes and final exam online in your PADI office. Discuss any questions you may have with your instructor.
Practical part: practicing 10 rescue and self-rescue skills in the pool and then in open water. Develop an emergency action plan and perform rescue scenarios.
The PADI Rescue Diver course is not easy, but it is interesting and is extremely useful for the experienced diver. If you aspire to reach the highest level of recreational diving or become a PADI professional this course is a must.
- Increase the diver's safety and comfort while diving;
- Anticipate and prevent problems that could theoretically occur while diving;
- Be prepared to manage real-life emergencies that could theoretically occur while diving;
- Assist a scuba diver in a stressful situation on the surface and underwater;
- Improve your diver qualification on the DIVELEADER and DIVEMASTER course (subject to completion of the ADVANCED UNIVERSAL DIVER and PROFESSIONAL BUOYANCY DIVER courses).
